Self-Catering holidays in the New Forest with your own horse. We offer high-end self-catering holidays for riders to come to the farm with their own horse, to enjoy the beauty and freedom of riding directly onto the New Forest National Park, from our gates.
Your stay will include: a bright large modern double or twin bedroom, either adjoining the stable yard or in our large cottage annex at the further end of the farm, both with wi-fi. A smart shower en-suite, linen and towels. This is on a self-catering basis and there is a kitchen with a breakfast table, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge, tea, coffee and biscuits. Outside there is a garden seating area to enjoy and relax in.
Once you arrive at the farm for your day’s riding, you can enjoy the warm atmosphere of our livery yard. There are other equine-friendly folk to chat to and also superb facilities.
An area of outstanding natural beauty – The New Forest gives you 14,500 acres of open forest, ancient woodlands and unspoilt landscape to ride on.
Today the wild ponies still roam freely across the Forest as they have for almost 1,000 years, owned by people who live in the New Forest, known as commoners. Created by William the Conqueror in 1079, as the King’s hunting ground to hunt Deer, it was protected from the Agricultural Revolution. You will often see our very own New Forest ponies that we ‘common’, sheltering under an Oak tree outside the farm.
